In addition to all that we are currently doing to serve Christian Leaders around the world … We affirm as a covenant family the additional and upward call and mandate of the Lord to extend our reach and responsibilities for God’s Kingdom in our generation. Therefore we are committed to the following objectives:
Church Planting
Planting Churches in strategic locations around the nation has been part of Destiny’s vision from the beginning. And we have seen numerous churches birthed over the last ten years. But now is the time to establish a major consistent, and aggressive church planting initiative. Beginning 2010 our goal will be to plant four churches annually.
Our plan for planting will include:
- Annual Church Planters Institute (training and orientation program) where planters will be equipped, coached, and resourced. They will also be evaluated personally as well as their vision and location to plant.
- Consistent and Reliable Coaching and Consultation along with Ministry Development Assistance.
- Micro-Finance Program to assist with the needed funding to get started. One of the great challenges of church planting is initial monies forstart-up expenses like equipment, printing, staff and facilities. Destiny can help with this through this program where grants will be awarded in $5, 000 to $20,000 blocks and then repaid by new church sowing a tithe back into the planting fund as they grow.
Pastors And Leaders In Crisis
Every year Destiny reaches out to leaders in crisis. In America 1,800 pastors leave the ministry every month as a result of moral failure, church problems, family stresses and fatigue. We are committed to maintaining an emergency fund for counseling, conflict resolution, rest, renewal and sabbaticals.
To Support Youth Ministries and Ministry Internships for Young People.
This will include assisting with youth camps, and identifying emerging young ministry leaders. We will place interns in various ministry venues where they will learn while working hand in hand with both academic institutions, and practical ministry opportunities. They will be exposed to ministry, trained and equipped as young leaders, for careers in ministry.
To Develop Ministry Training Centers Around the Globe.
The first of which is associated with Project Samuel in Zambia, Africa. We have already participated in drilling water wells on the property and in 2010 we will build an auditorium with two lecture halls, and two residential dorms for pastoral students. Then we will underwrite school sessions, conferences and staffing in an ongoing way.
World Impact Conferences
Every year Destiny is committed to training and equipping Christian Leaders in various nations. These conferences would focus on training leaders in three areas of life: Personal, Spiritual, and Professional excellence. The impact for the Kingdom would be limitless over time as we impart these principles into the hearts of Leaders
The Time is now and the plan is clear!
This is how the Lord directed our board to pay for the plan! If we (every member including individual members and church and ministry members) each commit to sow a minium of 3% of our personal incomes as individual ministers and 3% of our total budgets as churches and ministries we are there!!!!
Not equal giving but equal sacrifice!
Destiny belongs to us all and if we are to fulfill the call of God upon our lives we must all do our part. This is not plus giving. We all believe in tithing or should… so let's share 3% of what God has blessed us with and watch His abundant release in our lives and churches!
Here is what members are saying about this program!
Pastor Warren Richardson, The Summit Church, Memphis, TN
"We look forward with much anticipation to the season ahead. that season is being launched as an opportunity for us to do something together. The church planting, Training centers and World Impact conferences will be a powerful agenda for all of us."
Pastor Tom Lowe, Christ Church, West Monroe, LA
Our local church can only be benefited as we link up with the Destiny Covenant Family to plant new churches, participate in missions projects and see the Kingdom of God established in the earth. What we as a local church cannot do alone is suddenly a reality as we all link our hearts in faith. I can hardly wait to inform our people as to the combined efforts of Destiny’s Covenant Family. By the grace of God, We WILL Do Something Great Together!
Pastor Brennan Ayers, Family Worship Center, West Plains, MO
"Proverbs 11:24 says this: “There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; there is that witholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.” What is God saying to us? He's saying the increase comes after the scattering!” Let me put it to you this way, Jesus said in Mark 16:15-17, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believes not shall be damned. And these signs (the supernatural power of God) will what? (FOLLOW!) It doesn't come before. It doesn't precede the scattering. It follows it! Our church in West Plains has been scattering seed into missions and Destiny ministries for the last six months. In that period of time this church has experienced a great ground swell of God's unlimited power. Six people within our church family have reported they have jobs now. Two have received dramatic pay increases. Our food pantry has received an unexpected donation of $1500.00 dollars. People are being touched and lives are being changed. All because we decided to scatter!....."
Pastor Timothy Vowell, Faith Family Fellowship, Conroe, TX
“Over the past year and a half, Faith Family Fellowship has seen God meet every challenge that the enemy has put before us. Less than two years old we are more secure financially and operate a budget larger than most churches ten years old or older. We were very concerned when we planted the Church in The Woodlands area because it is one of the highest rent areas in greater Houston. Currently our monthly lease payment is a whopping $5,700.00 a month and we just recently spent $13,000.00 remodeling. Not one time have we ever been late or had to borrow funds to make our monthly obligations. The secret is we believe in tithing outside ourselves. Last year our congregation gave over 17% of our budget outside our local Church. Over 5% of that went to our covenant spiritual authority, Destiny Ministries. We believe that had we not been in covenant relationship with Destiny and been faithful in our support, we could not have expected the Lord to be faithful in His support of us. Less than two years old and we have a beautifully remodeled facility in a high rent area and a full time Pastor. Trust me! Tithing works for Churches as much as it does for Church members!”
Pastor Kevin Bates, Life Church, Winnsboro, LA
Life Church has answered the Call. . . We will make a Greater investment so that Destiny Ministries might fulfill its Greater Purpose! Since the conseption of our church in Winnsboro seven years ago, we have benefited greatly as a result of partnering with this wonderful Covenant Family. I am excited about the possibilities of expanding missions abroad and the planting of churches across America. Thank God for the Destiny Covenant Family!!"
Pastor Don Moore, The Healing Place, Ft. Smith, AR
"I have never been more excited to be a member of Destiny and participate in a vision and plan to reach the world for Jesus! I can hardly wait to get started!"
Pastor Andy Allison, Life Church, Longview, TX
"It has been a pleasure to have been connected to Destiny since the inception of Life Church three years ago. God has shown his provision in an amazing way. I believe this is in part because of our financial commitment to Destiny. Every storehouse needs a storehouse and your ministry has been great ground to sow seed.
From the beginning of this year, the word in my spirit has been 'next level.' I believe next level living is precipitated by next level giving. Our giving up to this point has brought to the level we are and will sustain us at this level. With that in mind, we as a church have decided to give more, do more and love more to go into our next level of ministry. I believe this realm of thought can catapult the whole kingdom of God into a new level of influence in the entire world."
Evangelist John and Kristin Ragsdale
"We believe in sowing and reaping. We believe in planting seed into good soil, So, we sow.We believe in Phil & Cathy Brassfield, We believe in Destiny, So, we sow. We believe that it is illegal to reap where you have not sown, We have reaped bountifully from Phil, Cathy and Destiny, So, we sow, Much has been given Much needs to be given, So, we sow We know that you sow where you want to go, We agree whole-heartedly with the destiny of Destiny, So, we sow, Our faith is for the future, We know that our future is knitted with Destiny, So, we sow."
