We would like to introduce you to the next phase at Destiny for equipping leaders, Destiny’s Intern Program.
The Intern Program will consist of leadership and ministry training in the classroom as well as planning conferences, working with ministry leaders, ministry website development, publishing newsletters, traveling ministry and much more. Our program is designed to expose each individual to all facets of ministry while placing them in situations that stretch their faith and enhance their walk with the Lord. It is our goal to sow into our future by training the next generation of Ministry Leaders. We want to provide them with the necessary training and discipline they need to become great leaders in the Kingdom and to help the Church fulfill its destiny. We are now accepting applications for the nine month program. The following is a weekly schedule of events the interns will be participating in.
Weekly Schedule
Tuesday through Friday*
8:30am - 9:30am Prayer and Devotion time
One of our goals for the interns is that they be intimately acquainted with God; therefore, our intern program emphasizes the development of their personal devotional life. We use various techniques, tools, and strategies during our devotional time. Also, the interns will pray over the ministry needs as well as their own personal needs.
9:30am – 11:30am Leadership Development
Each day the interns will have classroom time that focuses on growth of leadership skills and spiritual discipline. These classes will be taught by Destiny staff, area pastors, and Destiny friends and partners.
11:30am – 12:00pm Personal Time
This time is set aside for the Interns to take care of personal emails, phone calls and other related matters.
12:00pm – 1:00pm LUNCH
1:00pm – 5:00pm Leadership Application
The Interns will spend their afternoons in various departments of Destiny Ministries (e.g. data processing, marketing, media, website, administration). They will receive hands-on experience and a very practical look at a global ministry. Each department plays a role in impacting the world with the vision of Destiny Ministries and they will receive first hand experience how that is accomplished.
